Welcome to the AIS Enrollment Wiki!
On this wiki we hope to have a running commentary about the enrollment crisis in Information Systems. Some of us believe that this is the biggest threat to our field. It also represents a significant threat to organizations who cannot fill positions.
We have five initiatives, reflected by each of the main headings:

I'd like everyone doing well with enrollments to post their best practices on this page as well.
Other news: AIS is sponsoring the development of a Second Life site, thanks to the efforts of Geoff Hubona. We will make an announcement when we are ready for visitors. We have purchased half of an island and Georgia State has purchased the other half. The idea is to provide several things, including:
1. A place for high school and college students to explore IS careers and undergraduate and graduate program materials. Eventually we will have a center, a link to our lists of page programs on AISWorld, and a place where sponsoring schools can place teleportation kiosks to go to their islands.
2. A large meeting room as well as one or more smaller rooms that can be reserved by AIS members.
3. A "sandbox" facility for AIS members to experiment and learn how to build in Second Life.
4. Appropriate means to test their work in non-conventional devices. If needed, will be also provided.
